Does this sound like you?

I don’t know what my options are under Medicare.

I don’t know the difference between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans offered by private insurers.

I need help with my unique health care situation including my treating physicians and prescription drugs.

I don’t know how to enroll for the Medicare Advantage plan.

Let’s start with some frequently asked questions

Why is my SSDI income over $100 less than last month?

The cost for someone who is new to Medicare Part B in 2020 was increased to $144.60 per month. Since these premiums are automatically deducted from your monthly SSDI checks, this explains why the amount of your income decreased.

Why did I receive a card for Prescription Drug Coverage despite never signing up for anything?

If you qualify for the Extra Help program, Social Security Administration will automatically enroll you into a Prescription Drug Plan with a private insurance company.

When will I receive my Medicare card?

Approximately 3 months before your Medicare Part B effective date begins. If you haven’t received it by then or have lost it, call 1-800-633-4227 to order a new one.
